An archaeological assessment was undertaken in advance of planning permission for the development of an area of rough pasture at ‘the Parks’ Godmanchester (NGR TL 2460/7080). Archaeological features were recorded from a Medieval fish pond system linked to a moated manor, overlying infilled Roman quarries and associated features situated to the north of the Roman town.
