Description

Three datasets from manuscript "https://doi.org/10.1016/j.agee.2025.109626". Data were collected from 54 ecological monitoring plots in Southeast Liberia, part of the framework of the Sustainable Oil Palm in West Africa (SOPWA) Project. Arthropods were collected using pitfall traps, and then identified morphologically to order-level or species-level (spiders only). All permits were obtained including Liberia research visa and collection and export permits from Government of Liberia's Forestry Development Authority.

Farm - Cluster of plots from which data were collected as per SOPWA study design. System - Plot in rainforest, country palm, industrial oil palm Replicate - Replicate plot of a system with a farm cluster Pitfall trap - One of three pitfall traps (A, B, C) set within a plot Other columns relate to various covariates as outlined in the manuscript or the arthropod response variables.
