Abstract

jats:pDelusions are defined as unshakable beliefs indicating an impairment in the mechanism of inference from reality. But how can this account for cases such as chess legend Bobby Fischer, who mastered logical thinking on the board while also experiencing persecutory delusions? Fernandez-Egea and Robbins explore this apparent paradox.</jats:p>
