Abstract
We report a case of spontaneous granny knot formation between a large bore naso-gastric tube (NGT) and an oro-oesophageal temperature probe within the oesophagus intra-operatively. Whilst entanglement between NGTs and other devices has been reported, true knot formation is rare.
