Description
This letter refers to Peggy Broadhead, the
recording engineer and the Malay driver going
out to record hauling songs of the Madrassi
fishermen, but also of the perilous conditions that they have to work in. There is also discussion of the dances performed by those who live in the jungle. There is reference to to a Wayang Kulit, a puppet show which they recorded
