dc.description | Holography presents a basis for applications in imaging, measurements and displays; however, the achieved image quality in the replay field poses challenges to computer-generated holography. In a computer-generated holographic projection system, the image is generated via diffraction of light from spatial light modulators. In this process, several factors contribute to non-linearities between the replay field and the target image. The images in this dataset were captured to demonstrate the effectiveness of gamma correction method in holographic projection. Image descriptions: 1. "Replay field of holographic projection of linear ramp.jpg": Holographic projection replay field of linear grey-scale ramp. 2. "Replay field of holographic projection of gama corrected ramp.jpg": Holographic projection replay field of gamma corrected grey-scale ramp. 3. "Replay field of holographic projection of uncorrected city scene.jpg": Replay field of Sample image of city scene before gamma correction. 4. "Replay field of holographic projection of gamma corrected city scene.jpg": Relay field of Sample image of city scene after gamma correction. 5. "Replay field of holographic projection of uncorrected horse.jpg": Replay field of Sample image horse before gamma correction. 6. "Replay field of holographic projection of gamma corrected horse.jpg": Replay field of Sample image horse after gamma correction. The device used to capture the images was a Digital single-lens reflex camera of Model Cannon EOS 550D. | |
