Data associated with the aforementioned publication, including SEM images and mechanical testing data. There were 5 alloys under investigation. The mechanical testing involved 100 cycles of loading and unloading to a fixed stress for each alloy. This was performed on an Instron 3367. The SEM images were taken using BSE on a Zeiss GeminiSEM 300, with the parameters used for each image displayed on the image.
