• Supplementary images

This disc contains material supplementary to the printed volume, consisting of 4,254 images and 65 tables. In addition it includes an appendix to chapter 10 and a fuller version of the catalogue presented in Chapter 9. The material is organized in the folders named for the chapter in the book to which the material contained therein relates.

Most of the tables are the individual trench pottery tables described in the Appendix to the volume. In addition, supplementary tables are provided for Chapters 5, 11 and 17, and a workbook of data forming the basis for the observations of Chapter 12 is also provided to facilitate further analysis.

Most chapter folders include both colour and high-resolution versions of the images published in the printed volume, as well as additional images relevant to the chapter. Chapter 18 includes a series of supplementary figures whose captions are given in the printed volume: these figure numbers follow the format 18.Sxx, where xx is the figure number. The complete excavation archive of photographs is divided between Chapters 4, 15, 16, 17 and 19, and photographs of artefacts are to be found in the relevant chapter folders. The figurines and stone vessels from the Special Deposit South will be published in volume III, and so are not to be found on this disc
