Abstract
This paper brings together key insights from the UCI Expert Insight Series exploring where and how better data and metrics could be developed to meet the needs of Research England and other funders as they seek to develop new approaches to enabling universities to contribute to regional growth through knowledge exchange. It identifies key areas where tangible progress could be made over the short and medium terms to develop and deliver more meaningful data and metrics available on KE for regional economic growth.
