Depicts Minerva providing inspiration to the traditional personification of Ingenium or Genius (with wings on each side of her head), overcoming the negative influence of Acedia (with the attribute of the turtle), and Ignorance (with donkey ears). At the feet of Ingenium are the various titles of St Réal's works written on open books or pieces of paper.
