Abstract
A short film on the indexing methods used by Sir James Frazer in writing the 'Golden Bough', based on his notebooks in Cambridge. This was made in one hour to illustrate how to make a film - the filming of the film making can be seen on www.alanmacfarlane.com or Dspace under 'Seminar on video methods'.
