Abstract
Khöshee, colloquially termed as the ‘eye ailment’, holds a significant place in local folklore. As depicted in this video, the practice of Khöshee Choluu involves rubbing one’s eyes on this special stone, believing that it possesses curative properties. However, in recent years, this tradition been declining, particularly among the younger generations. Additionally, the landscape has undergone transformations due to the establishment of new settlements, including those of Han Chinese immigrants.
