Interventions to Address Gender Disparities in Grant Funding: A Menu of Options

Abstract

This document provides an overview of 29 interventions that have been proposed and/or tested to support a more equitable distribution of research funding, with a particular focus on gender. This list is intended as a practical resource and a starting point for UK and international funders and research organisations (ROs). It presents a range of interventions that may be adapted to different organisational contexts, funding schemes, and priorities. While not exhaustive, the document aims to support those seeking to improve inclusivity in grant funding.
