Description
The file contains data from two related projects run by the Cambridge Antiquarian Society. The first collates references in Latin literature to crops in Roman Britain and their transportation. The second is a compilation of archaeobotanical datasets from 87 archaeological excavations in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The data has been put into a standard format for ready comparison, and fully phased. Metadata describes the process by which the data was collated and processed, along with all details of the original source excavations.
