Abstract

Vladimir was born in Siberia in 1953. After exile, his family returned to Kalmykia and settled in the village of Komsomolets where Vladimir started elementary school. In 1962 the whole family moved to the village of Tsoros. Vladimir finished his elementary school there. After graduating from Bashanta Technical College, Vladimir served in the army. Afterwards he studied agriculture at Kalmyk State University. He spent his whole life working in the Kalmyk agricultural sector managing various collective farms. He also kept horses. He knows his ancestors six generations back. Vladimir is married, has three children, and seven grandchildren.
