Abstract
Valentina reminisces about lama Lidzhi Ochirov who helped her family: When we returned from exile to Kalmykia, there were no temples, nothing left. We used to go and see lama Lidzhi Ochirov who helped us. He tried to solve our problems as much as he could. When my children fell ill, he read prayers. All of them have survived. Our homeland also helped us feel stronger.
