Abstract
This video shows the Shar Süm (yellow monastery) and the interview of an elderly Torghut pilgrim called Nudai. The yellow monastery, built between 1878 – 1888 during the reign of the 14th Torghut Khan Buyantsogt, is the biggest monastery of the Old Southern Road Torghuts. It was designated a national key cultural relics conservation centre in 2013. Nudai is the mother of one of the lamas in the monastery.
