Description

Box modelling data for investigation of ozone-temperature relationships in the article 'On the changes in surface ozone over the 21st Century' Archibald et al. The data were created using BOXMOX (described in https://doi.org/10.1016/j.atmosenv.2014.11.066) using MOZART-4 mechanism supplied via https://boxmodeling.meteo.physik.uni-muenchen.de/descriptions/boxmox.html and UKCA mechanism as described in https://doi.org/10.5194/gmd-13-1223-2020.

Data are supplied as CSV format. MOZART_4.zip contains data generated as a function of initial NOx, isoprene (2-methyl-1,3-butadiene) and temperature as separate files for each initial value of NOx, isoprene and temperature. Each file contains the time evolution of all species in the mechanism over the model integration time of 4 days. UKCA.zip contains identical data generated using the UKCA mechansim. Each zip file also contains a README.md giving further information.
