Description
Supporting video files for thesis entitled "Investigating the role of the cardiac apelin receptor using human embryonic stem cell derived-cardiomyocytes." The powerpoint file contains the videos referenced in the above mentioned thesis. These are representative videos of human embryonic stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (hESC-CMs), taken using either a standard brightfield microscope or fluorescent microscope, fitted with a LabCam adaptor and videos recorded using an iPhone 7. Each video has an associated legend with further details and scaling. The videos are all in MP4 format. The video files highlight differences observed between wild type hESC-CMs and hESC-CMs carrying genetially manipulated apelin receptor.
