Description

Allele specific pyrosequencing data was generated from tissues dissected from reciprocal C57BL/6 x CastEiJ mouse crosses. Genes of interest were amplified using qRT-PCR. The levels of expression from each allele were determined using pyrosequencing assays across SNPs in the gene. The data deposited represents the mean of 2 technical replicates.

The dataset also includes sequences from cloned bisufite converted DNA across the Nhlrc1 DMR region. The region of interest contains SNP so parent of origin can be assigned.

Software / Usage instructions

Pyrosequencing data was generated using Qiagen Pyromark. Bisulfite sequencung data was assessed using BISMA (http://services.ibc.uni-stuttgart.de/BDPC/BISMA/)
