Description

The dataset contains raw data supporting the article ‘’Solar-driven liquid multicarbon fuel production using a standalone perovskite-BiVO4 artificial leaf’’. An artificial leaf device was developed for sunlight driven conversion of carbon dioxide and water into multicarbon alcohols (ethanol and n-propanol) without any external energy input. The dataset is divided into five key parts:$$ \ $$i) Artificial Leaf: Contains data related to the perovskite-BiVO4 artificial leaf device assembly and performance (Origin, Microsoft Excel, JPG, and TIF files),$$ \ $$ii) Catalyst and Device Characterization: Contains bimetallic CuxPdy CO2 reduction catalyst, perovskite device, BiVO4 photoanode, and TiCo water oxidation catalyst characterization data (Origin and TIF files),$$ \ $$iii) Electrochemistry: Contains electrochemical characterization and CO2 electrolysis data (Origin, Microsoft Excel, and TIF files),$$ \ $$iv) Photoelectrochemistry: Contains photoelectrochemical characterization data of perovskite photocathode and unassisted tandem device (Origin and Microsoft Excel files),$$ \ $$v) Spectroscopy and DFT: Contains data related to mechanistic analysis of CO2 to multicarbon alcohol production over bimetallic CuxPdy catalysts (Origin and TIF files).
