Abstract
An archaeological assessment was undertaken by the Cambridge Archaeological Unit on land near Fen Drayton, Cambs. The assessment confirmed that the single cropmark known within the area represents a Romano-British settlement dating to the second half of the fourth century AD. Two previously unknown sites, potentially settlements, one certainly of the Iron Age and the second likely to be of earlier prehistoric (Early Neolithic?) date, were also revealed. A complex series of alluvial deposits, probably of Late-Roman to post-Roman data, was also recovered.
