Fenscapes: Archaeology, natural heritage, and environmental change in the Fens of eastern England

Fenscapes investigates trajectories of landscape, habitat, and species from the Neolithic onwards in the Fens of eastern England. We aim to build self-reflective understandings relevant to land-use and wetland management in the Fens and beyond. Preliminary results show underlying biases in data patterning linked to burial depth and archaeological practice.
