Description

These data were obtained with a 2-Port Vector Network Analyzer HP8722D (VNA).

Two Wire Data: Using planar surface wave launchers and 50cm uncoated copper wire with 0.5mm diameter; wire distance ca. 1cm

Port Nomenclature for S-Parameters

Port 4|----------------------------------|Port 2

Port 3|----------------------------------|Port 1

Thus, e.g. S31.S2P contains 2-Port S-parameters with VNA connected to Port 1 and Port 3. Ports 2 and 4 are terminated with 50 Ohms.

The Two_Wire_Eigenvectors.csv file contains the eigenvectors of a matrix H which is created using the transmission values within the S-parameter files (within the files known as S21 but should not be confused with the port definitions above) as follows H=([S31, S41]; [S32, S42]).

Three Wire Data: distance ca. 1cm for lower two wires, 2 cm for top two wires. Using planar surface wave launchers and 50cm uncoated copper wire with 0.5mm diameter. Port Nomenclature for S-Parameters

Port 6|----------------------------------|Port 3

Port 5|----------------------------------|Port 2

Port 4|----------------------------------|Port 1

Thus, e.g. S41.S2P contains 2-Port S-parameters with VNA connected to Port 1 and Port 4. Ports 2,3,5,6 are terminated with 50 Ohms.

The Three_Wire_Eigenvectors.csv file contains the eigenvectors of a matrix H which is created using the transmission values within the S-parameter files (within the files known as S21 but should not be confused with the port definitions above) as follows H=([S41, S51, S61]; [S42, S52, S62];[S43, S53, S63]).
