X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) measurements of Ni/Gd/Ni thin-film multilayers grown by D.C. magnetron sputtering. Measurements were performed between the temperature range of 6 K and room temperature, and between the magnetic field range of +250 mT and -250 mT. Measurements were performed at beamline 13-1, SSRL, SLAC, USA. XMCD measurements of both elements are present, as are M(H) loops (magnetic hysteresis loops) for both elements for all samples.
